Waking Dream Workshops...

Waking Dream Workshops are designed for artists and volunteers who wish to develop their skills and creativity in a team environment, and learn more about puppetry and performance arts. Activities include:

• Performance Techniques - Learn to operate large and small puppets, walk on stilts, play music, improvise and clown around.
• Costume Design - Learn to sew with simple or exotic fabrics and make costumes for people and puppets.
• Puppet and Prop Creation -Work with cardboard, papermache, foam, metal, wood, and unusual materials to make your concept come to life!
• Script Writing and Choreography - Help dream up new works for Waking Dream and work with us to make those dreams become a reality at our next performance.
• Theater Arts - Learn to act and play improvisation games. Assist with lighting design, musical direction, video production, photography, or anything else you can imagine!
